QUALIFICATIONS

I have fifteen years experience as a fine artist and photographer. I enjoy working with people. Portraiture is my specialty. For my photography I use a digital or 35mm film camera. I have intermediate Photoshop skills and extensive darkroom experience. The inspiration for my paintings and sculpture is drawn from the poignant imagery in my photographs. My medium of choice is acrylic. I also work in plaster, forming female body casts from live models which I use as my canvas. I have exhibited in California, Idaho and New York galleries and have won awards for my work.

Hired to create a character and draw illustrations for two children/adult companion books. The recently published books, My Inner Child A Storybook for Grownups and My Inner Child A Friend Forever, have been very successful. Managed thirty artists in a loft environment. Organized receptions and headed marketing for the artists, including writing press releases, creating posters and flyers. Curated monthly art exhibitions in the Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego's Art District.
